The Office of Academic Technologies (OAT) federates the activities of twelve units working together to provide academic technology services that support the goals of Educating Illinois and enhance the purpose of technology for teaching, learning, research and creative activity, and service outreach.
One of the overarching Goals of OAT is to strengthen the collective voice for academic technology needs of units in the Division of Academic Affairs. Toward that end, this Report on the Academic Priorities for Technology Enhancements seeks to summarize and prioritize those needs.

Content from the campus Cable Television system is available on computers connected to the campus network.
Administrators have scheduled a restart of the campus Exchange system for Tuesday, August 26, 2014 between the hours of 4 am and 5 am. Some mail clients may need to reconnect after the restart has completed.
A planned outage of the AIG software is scheduled for Thursday, August 28 and Friday, August 29 from 1:00 - 4:00PM. This outage is necessary to test the RightFax integration with Datatel and AIG.
If you experience problems with AIG after the outage has completed, please contact your local tech support.
College of Business (COB) has scheduled computer maintenance for Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:00 am. During this maintenance COB computers will automatically restart. It is recommended that COB faculty and staff save all work and log off before leaving work on Friday, August 29th. Failure to do so could result in data loss.
The mainframe will be undergoing an outage, Sunday, August 31st, from 4:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m.
