The Office of Academic Technologies (OAT) federates the activities of twelve units working together to provide academic technology services that support the goals of Educating Illinois and enhance the purpose of technology for teaching, learning, research and creative activity, and service outreach.
One of the overarching Goals of OAT is to strengthen the collective voice for academic technology needs of units in the Division of Academic Affairs. Toward that end, this Report on the Academic Priorities for Technology Enhancements seeks to summarize and prioritize those needs.

In preparation for the August weekend activities to migrate Campus Solutions to production, several tables on the Mainframe will be changed to read-only. The preliminary time frame will begin at 6:00 pm, Friday, August 1. The tables impacted are Biographic/Demographic data for students, faculty and staff. Data in these tables will be viewable, but will not be able to be updated during this timeframe. It is anticipated that the tables will be changed back to full access by noon on Saturday August 2.

Communications will be sent as soon as the Mainframe tables are changed to full access. Every effort will be made to minimize the time needed to have the tables in a read-only mode.
