Many campus computer labs and open access locations on campus offer printing to faculty, staff and students. Prints are charged to an individual's Redbird Card. In addition, uPrint allows faculty, staff and students to print from their personal computer and then pick up their prints from any uPrint location within the next 24 hours.
Any current member of the University may utilize pay printing with their Redbird Card (debit dollars are required) or Guest Copy Card. Any campus department may request the addition of a pay printing station to their computer labs or open access areas.
To print via uPrint, download the uPrint software helpdesk.illinoisstate.edu/downloads and then pick up your prints from any uPrint location.
To request the addition of pay printing to your computer lab fill out the Pay Printing Request form.
Many departments also offer printing options to their faculty and staff.
Black and white 8 ½ x 11 size prints are $.08 per print, color 8 ½ x 11 is $.80. Oversize costs vary where available.
For departments utilizing pay printing in their computer lab, there is no cost beyond furnishing network jacks. All costs and revenues associated with pay printing flow through that pay printing account.
The pay printing system is generally available 24 x 7 x 365. Periodic maintenance is necessary and outages are announced and scheduled as far in advance as possible.
