
Campus web sites and applications can take advantage of the University's single sign-on authentication system based on the campus LDAP directory. Some authorization features are also possible through the use of LDAP Groups.
Any technical support staff may request authentication directly through LDAP or through CentralLogin for their application or web site. Any current member may request an LDAP group be created, and once created, manage it themselves. All requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
To request authentication through LDAP or CentralLogin fill out the CentralLogin/LDAP Authentication Request form.

There is no charge to utilize LDAP Authentication, CentralLogin or LDAP Groups.
The campus LDAP directory, CentralLogin and LDAP Groups are generally available 24 x 7 x 365. Periodic maintenance is necessary and outages are announced and scheduled as far in advance as possible.
